Priority update - Shoplifting

Dear All, 

Our team have been focused on shoplifting offenders over the last two weeks. We have been working successfully with our retail partners to achieve a high prosecution rate. 

JD Sports had reported a shoplifting offence to police & within two days we had identified the offender, made the arrest and returned the goods located during a premises search to JD. 

The offender was sentenced to six weeks in prison. We will continue to target those who offend within our community.
