I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road safety and road traffic offences including speeding, driving uninsured tax, using mobile phone no seatbelt whilst driving or Drink/drug driving, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Officers from the Delapre and South Northampton Neighbourhood Policing Team were out and about yesterday in the community completing road safety checks on Clannell Road and Towcester Road. A total of 10 vehicle and speeding offences were recorded, 9 words of advice issued, 2 Voi Scooter accounts suspended, 1 vehicle seized for no insurance & 1 private e-scooter seized.
