Working Together for Safer Streets: Tackling Traffic Offences and Community Safety in Kirkholt |
||
|
Yesterday, Kirkholt Neighbourhood Officers were actively engaged in the community, conducting traffic enforcement on Queensway. This initiative supports the principles of Vision Zero, which aims to eliminate all traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries by promoting safer roads and behaviours, by addressing traffic offences, we are working towards reducing harm and ensuring safer streets for everyone. During mobile patrols, two Surron bikes failed to stop for officers, displaying a blatant disregard for the law and the safety of the public in the area. This type of behaviour poses significant risks, and we urge the community to come forward with any information that could assist in identifying and removing these vehicles from our roads. Your support is vital in helping us address this issue and ensuring the safety of our neighbourhoods. Later in the day, we received a report of a stolen Takeuchi excavator. Following thorough enquiries with the Stolen Vehicle Examination Unit, the decision was made to seize both the trailer and the excavator. We remain committed to working with our community and partners to tackle crime and ensure the safety of our roads and neighbourhoods. Any information, no matter how small, could make a significant difference in our efforts please reply to this post.
