Has someone asked you for a taxi fare to get to hospital with their expectant wife? Or perhaps they are late for a shift at a Mayfair restaurant as a top chef? 

Confidence tricksters are creative; it is always a good idea to question. There are lots of great charities out there which work with those unwell with drug and alcohol addiction; your money is likely better spent with them and you can be sure it won't feed a life-destroying dependency.
