Sudbury – Appeal after fail-to-stop collision |

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fail-to-stop road traffic collision involving a pedestrian in Sudbury.
The incident occurred just after 12:50am on Saturday 18 October on Newton Road.
It is reported that a pedestrian, a man aged in his 40s, was injured, potentially after a collision with a vehicle which failed to stop at the scene.
An ambulance was called, and the man is understood to have sustained serious injuries, which are not believed to be considered life threatening.
The road was closed between the A134 and the A131 junction as emergency services attended the scene and reopened by 2.40am.
