Cold Callers/Rogue Traders

Hello all.

I received contact from a member of the public today in the Queens Road area of Littlestone reporting a male going door to door and he was not only ringing the doorbell but letting himself into unlocked porches. 

I suspect that this chap was ‘cold calling’ to do gardening work or similar.

I always recommend NOT to employ cold callers, if you need work doing to your home please do your own research with reputable firms as you don't know if these cold callers are rogue traders or want to get into your property to look at what they can steal.

I'm not saying that all cold callers are the same but unfortunately we have to be on our guard and err on the side of caution.

Remember, don't let anyone into your property if you're not expecting them or feel that something isn't quite right and ring 999 if they won't leave or become persistent trying to put you under pressure to part with your money.
