Dear residents and local businesses,
Here is a roundup of what the Foleshill Neighbourhood team officers have been doing this week.
OUR Priorities
Our priorities are anti-social behaviour in Edgwick park- Officers have continued to patrol Edgwick park throughout this week. This weekend officers were based at the park with our police van this was an opportunity for residents to receive crime prevention advice and raise any local issues.
Officers were also continuing their hi visibility patrols at the Gallagher retail park. Again we have our police van parked up and officers were interacting with shoppers and giving crime prevention advice. Shop theft is still a big issue on the retail park this week officers have completed a plain clothes operation targeting prolific offenders, no arrests were made and enquiries will be ongoing
IN OTHER NEWS
This week officers have completed community speedwatch in various locations. This is after feedback from residents concerned about speeding drivers in the local area. PCSO have also been out with residents completing streetwatch walks. We are always on the lookout for speedwatch and streetwtch volunteers so if this is something that interests you please do get in touch.
We have loved seeing all the Diwali celebrations, if you are letting off fireworks please remain safe and follow the firework code below.
In time for Diwali and the 5th November celebrations, we're sharing this important firework safety advice to remind all residents to enjoy fireworks safely and responsibly. Follow the Firework Code to protect yourself, your family, and your community:
