Good Afternoon, 

In response to growing community concerns about road safety on Bryn Road, this morning I led a joint Operation Atal initiative. Working in partnership with the local officers, the Fire Service, and Road Safety Officers, the operation focused on two key areas; Speeding and failure to wear seatbelts. 

Results from the operation; 

🚗 33 vehicles stopped for exceeding the speed limit

🚫 3 drivers stopped for not wearing a seatbelt

🚔 1 male arrested for driving under the influence of drugs

To support our commitment to education over enforcement, drivers found in violation were given the opportunity to attend an on-the-spot road safety session, which included a powerful awareness video delivered by the Fire Service. 

We understand that road safety is a shared responsibility, and we are committed to working with our partners and the community to reduce risk and prevent harm. Thank you to all residents for your continued support as we strive to make our roads safer for everyone.
