I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. The team have made two arrests recently that were both related Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) offences.
One of these arrests was a direct stop where the subject had breached their court order and the other was an arrest enquiry where the subject is suspected of committing an offence in the isle of wight.
