Good morning all, Bore da pawb
Once again, we are receiving reports of males knocking doors selling household items. These are known as “Nottingham Knockers”
These males go door to door, selling items like dusters, tea towels etc. They have been known be become aggressive, intimidating and pressure you into buying items. They may have an ID card, however this is likely to be fake.
Recently we have had a report of these males, walking around properties with a torch. It could possibly be they are scouting for burglaries, so we are urging you to be vigilant.
Do NOT open your door Do NOT buy from them Spread the word to your neighbours and friends Be aware of sales tactics, fake IDs etc
