Entry gained to a Vehicle

We are appealing for information after a vehicle was entered in Woodyard Close, Brigstock.

The residents vehicle was entered by unknown means Overnight Sat 18/Sun 19 Oct and some personal effects thrown out of the vehicle.Nothing appears to have been stolen.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 25000613862 or report to us online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
