SNT Officers to the rescue |
||
Good Evening Harrow Road and Queens Park Residents,
As some of you may know, your local SNT officers get called to assist the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Today at around 1120hrs, PC Ash Dennis was made aware of a young boy who had managed to get his head stuck in the railings of the palace. Togther with other SNT and ERPT officers, we jumped into action, calming the family, dispersing onlookers and looking after this young man. After trying some wiggling and persuasion, sadly it wasnt safe for the young man to safely remove his head from the railings. HUGE thanks to our colleagues at LFB who scrambled a crew from SOHO who came armed with the hydraulic jaws to gently encourage the railings to move just a few mm. Within seconds, the young man was free and ready to enjoy the rest of his trip to London.
No damage to the railings and a happy story. We were back on our wards in the afternoon after drying out fom the rain.
Onto the next job! | ||
