Hi Visibility foot Patrols

Dear Residents,

Whilst carrying out hi visibility foot patrols around Rock Grounds carpark Aberdare, we had seen a tent pitched up around the side of the old RCT building. Upon checking inside the tent, we confirmed there were no occupants residing, so called on RCT street cleaning team to request the removal of this, (16/10/2025).

I can confirm, whilst on foot patrols today (20/10/2025), the street cleaning team had removed the tent. This goes to show how vital it is for South Wales Police to link in and work alongside our key partners.
