E-Bikes/E-Scooters

The unlawful use of e-bikes and e-scooters is becoming an increasing concern across the city, posing significant risks to both riders and other road users.

On Thursday, 16th October, the Ely Neighbourhood Policing Team participated in a joint operation alongside other neighbourhood teams and Cardiff Council. As part of this initiative, several illegally used e-scooters and e-bikes were seized.

These operations are part of our ongoing commitment to improving road safety and ensuring compliance with current legislation. We urge all users to familiarise themselves with the legal requirements surrounding the use of e-bikes and e-scooters.
