Dear Resident,
Over the last seven days there has been a total of two reported residential burglaries on the following roads, COLEBOURNE ROAD and GREENALEIGH ROAD. Entry was gained via, drilling locks or snapping of locks.
To ensure your property is safe, anti-snap locks, CCTV and alarms are useful methods to prevent offenders gaining entry or act as a deterrent.
We have also had eight theft related offences within the area over the last seven days. Vehicle theft or thefts from vehicles have been reported on the following roads: YARDLEY WOOD ROAD, STOT FOLD ROAD, ALECESTER ROAD SOUTH, GLENAVON ROAD, CHINN BROOK ROADM PATRICIA AVENUE.
Please ensure that your vehicles are locked and secured and, if your vehicle is keyless entry use a faraday pouch. Ensure nothing valuable is left on show within your vehicle, which could make it a target.
The days are getting shorter and the longer nights may bring with it an increase in theft related offences. Taking prevention methods could lower the chance of your property being targeted by criminals.
Officers continue to patrol these areas and are investigating the above offences. If you have any information or areas you think should be target let your neighbourhood team know. Please visit Billesley | Your area | West Midlands Police | West Midlands Police, to report crime, view upcoming meetings and events and much more.
