Bike Theft on Worlds End Estate

Safer Neighbourhood Officers were alerted by residents to a man who had just had his electric bike stolen as he was delivering on the estate.

Officers quickly viewed the CCTV footage and identified the suspect taking the bike. The victim had left his bike unlocked as he was delivering to the estate. Officers circulated the description and did an area search for the suspect.

Always lock your bikes and other property, even if you are just leaving it for two minutes. Thieves are opportunistic and will steal property in a matter of seconds.

The suspects details will be circulated to neighbouring wards.
