Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Dear Bloxwich East Residents,

As the week comes to a close, we wanted to share a quick update on what your local neighbourhood policing team has been up to. It’s been a busy and productive week for the Bloxwich Neighbourhood Team as we continue working hard to keep our community safe and supported.

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅
Here’s a snapshot of this week’s activity:

🔹Bloxwich Neighbourhood Team worked with officers from across the force, the specialist Traffic Unit and partner agencies including the DVSA and Walsall Council to conduct a Multi-Agency Road Safety Operation. Multiple vehicles were seized for no insurance, unsafe loads and tickets were issued for various traffic offences. There were 3 arrests from this Operation. This was a successful day where vehicles and road users were targeted to ensure safety on our roads. 

🔹Patrols have been conducted in Little Bloxwich, Blakenall Heath, and Bloxwich High Street area targeting ASB and criminality.  
🔹Bloxwich Officers have continued to build cases to target prolific shoplifters in the local community as this remains one of our local priorities. 

✅ Crime Prevention Tips:

💬Vehicle crime is still occurring, and it is recommended to take extra precaution as we head into the colder months to ensure your vehicle is safe and secure. We will do our best to advise you when we can. Attend our local Police Drop-in session where officers may be able to offer free Faraday Pouches - these Faraday pouches cut wireless signals from devices and can also be purchased online. 

💬 Our focus remains on reducing crime, supporting victims, and working with partners and the public to make Bloxwich a safer place for everyone. Various concerns have continued to be raised in relation to vehicles driving antisocially and speeding, especially Off-Road bikes in the area. In response to this, Bloxwich Neighbourhood Team are tackling this as a priority, organising Operations which target off-road bike users.
