Good news for Hillingdon! 👮‍♀️✨

Following public feedback, the Met Police has revised its Front Counter Strategy — 27 front counters will remain open across London (that’s 7 more than originally planned).

✅ Hayes Police Station will stay open under the new plan.

✅ 2 locations (Charing Cross & Lewisham) will be open 24/7.

✅ 25 others will operate Mon–Fri, 10am–10pm, and weekends 9am–7pm.

This approach saves £7m, frees up 2,900 officer hours per month, and keeps local access strong.
