Police: Update on past couple of shifts

Wow, it’s been a whirlwind few days out on the beat, so here’s a little snapshot of what I’ve been up to lately — and it’s fair to say, no two shifts are ever the same!

🚗 Seized a vehicle for no insurance — a reminder that driving without it isn’t just risky, it’s illegal. Always check your cover before hitting the road!

🧠 Assisted health services with a mental health incident — working together to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved.

🚶‍♂️ Responded to a report of someone walking in the carriageway on the A1 — thankfully they were brought to safety without incident. Please remember, fast roads are no place for pedestrians!

🔦 Investigated reports of suspicious persons with torches in gardens — if something doesn’t feel right, always report it.

🏠 Responded to a domestic incident — supporting victims and ensuring everyone’s safety is always a top priority.

🚙 Responded to an elderly female who's 'Smart Car' wasn't acting so clever and had broken down on the A1 — thankfully it was small enough for me to push to safety 💪

🚔  In between all that, I’ve been progressing my ongoing investigations, patrolling the villages, engaging with the community and completing reassurance visits to victims of crime.
