Drug arrest

Dear All,

On Thursday members of your local ward team were deployed in plain clothes to patrol the known hotspots of our area. After several hours a young male was seen leaving two addresses suspected of being involved in local drug supply. After a brief foot chase he was detained near Vincent Square and found to be in possession of Class A drugs and a large amount of cash. As with some previous arrests invaluable intelligence about the male in question was initially supplied by vigilant local residents.  

Following recent successes in disrupting drug activity near Westminster Cathedral we are now focusing on new areas where we are seeing an increase in dealing and consumption. Today's arrest should be seen in that context.
