Antisocial Behaviour in Blisworth |
||
Suggested subject line: Antisocial Behaviour in street name/location Dear Resident We are investigating complaints of antisocial behaviour in a variety of locations in and around Blisworth, and are appealing to local residents for information. Concerningly, Northamptonshire Police have only received two reports, to the Force control room, others have been reported to us via local Parish Councillors, observing posts on local social media, meaning we are only getting the reports two to three days later due to the officer who has been emailed, then being on restdays. The Police are not in a position to monitor what is being posted on social media, especially with the number of villages in South Northamptonshire we have to cover. There is also a concern that the Northamptonshire Police online reporting tool is rather length, and not suited to reporting an urgent matter. We remind all residents that if a matter is urgent, or there is a crime in progress (vehicle interference) that 999 should be used. The footage we have currently received has been shown in local schools and currently we cannot identify who is responsbile, some of the CCTV is of poor quality, and has no evidential value. We are aiming to identfy those responsible and take the appropriate action under the Anti-social behaviour Act 2014. If you are aware of who is responsible, you can email me personally, or respond to this alert, and I am happy to resolve the matter with anti-social behaviour legislation, Matthew.Taylor@northants.police.uk. Alternatively you can report online here. You can also pass on information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Security tips and crime prevention advice can be found on the Northamptonshire Police website and on the Neighbourhood Watch website. If you would like to contact your local policing team, search in the Your Area section of our website. PCSO Matt Taylor Towcester Rural Ward | ||
