Drug Usage - Rear of 104 Queens Crescent |
||
I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.
Local residents have been complaining about drug-users hanging around at the rear of 104 Queens Crescent. Slow-time work is being conducted in terms of those identified to date, but in the meantime, attention is being paid by the team. On 12th October 2025 at around 1322hrs, the team attended following a call from a concerned resident. Two individuals were subsequently detained and searched. One of those individuals gave details, which were instantly known to be false, in a clear bid to avoid arrest. His true identity was known and he was consequently arrested for a theft offence where over £2500 in property was stolen in Hampstead High Street, and another theft offence in St Pancras Station. We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk/, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years. | ||
