Fake police notice

Dear resident,

Officers have been made aware of and have found fake police signs, displaying the Metropolitan Police logo that have been attached to lamp posts in parts of Fulham. These signs are not official.

If you come across one, please:

Report it: Call 101 (non-emergency) and provide the exact location or address of the lamp post.

Do not engage: Please don’t attempt to remove the sign or confront anyone you believe may be responsible. If someone is acting suspiciously or there is an immediate danger, call 999.

Spread the word: Let neighbours and local community know so others are aware.
