Joint Patrols With Partner Agencies

Hello Residents,

Hope you are all well.

Your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team recently organised Partnership Joint Patrols on the wards around Acton.

Together with members from Ealing Council, Park Guards and along with their Dog Unit, we were able to conduct proactive patrols on all the blocks on East Acton and South Acton wards to tackle crime relating to drug and gang activities. We also included local green spaces, such as Acton Park and Trinity Park to ensure our residents and park users can enjoy and feel safe whilst using the parks.

Working alongside with our partner agencies, we were also able to provide strong police presence targeting areas that are known for anti-social behaviour and offer reassurance to residents who saw all of us out and about. This also gave us and many of our residents a chance to engage with one another to share any local concerns and challenges we faced as a community.

We hope to conduct more Partnership Joint Patrols in the future to continue to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in our local areas.
