Burglary in Benthall

We’re appealing to residents and local businesses following a burglary and an attempted break-in in the Benthall area last night.

Between 6pm and 6am, several buildings and workshops in Benthall were targeted in a burglary where a large quantity of tools were stolen.  In the same time frame, there was also an attempted burglary from a shed to a nearby property.  Fortunately, no one was harmed, but the loss of equipment is significant and distressing for those affected.

If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area during this time such as unusual vehicles, unfamiliar individuals, or any activity that seemed out of place, please come forward.  Even small details could be crucial.

We urge all residents to remain alert, secure their properties, and report any suspicious behaviour immediately. Officers will be increasing patrols in the area and working closely with the community to prevent further incidents.
