LOCK YOUR DOORS

Dear Resident

As the darker nights roll in please remember to lock your doors and windows, even when you are at home. 

Several burglaries have taken place in the last week due to people leaving their doors unlocked or the keys in the lock. Some houses are also being targeted for their car keys. 

If you have a house alarm, remember to set turn it on when you go out or before you got bed.

If you have doorbell cameras or CCTV, remember to check that it is switched on and has working batteries. 

Neighbourhood policing teams have increased their patrols and will be out at all times of the day and night.

If you see anything suspicious near your home or your neighbours, you can get in touch with us on 999 (if it is ongoing) or 101 / www.gmp.police.uk if it is not an emergency.
