Local Crewe Story |
||
Good afternoon,
How's your day going?
Cheshire College - South & West are committed to having a drug free campus to ensure a safe learning environment.
Today, PC's Ben & John have attended the college engaging with the pastoral team and students to support this. Three specialist drug dog's and their handlers were on campus to detect any students that may have brought drugs to the campus. We are pleased to report that no students were found to be in possession of any illegal substances.
Additionally, PCSO's Jen and Lorraine were also present having positive discussions with students around staying safe and gathering their views on how the community can be made safer.
The aim of our attendance is to ensure the safeguarding of all young people and to make sure that they are learning in a drug-free environment. But also providing support and education to those that need it.
