Appeal for witnesses following theft of a motor vehicle.

As the evenings draw in be aware that thieves like to work in the dark in an attempt to avoid been seen by witnesses.

A black Toyota Rav4 index KO21*** was stolen from the parking area outside flats in Moor Close, Owlsmoor sometime overnight between 9.00pm on Saturday 11 October and 11.00am on Sunday 12 October.

Like many newer cars the stolen car had keyless ignition, so it is presumed the offenders will have used an electrical scanner device in order to gain access and start the car.

Initial enquiries suggest the offenders drove off towards Camberley.
