Equine Patrol

Equine Patrol – Bethersden & Pluckley – 12th October 2025

On Sunday 12th October 2025, I was joined by PCSO Richards and colleagues for a rural Equine patrol covering the areas of Bethersden and Pluckley.

We were accompanied by Elizabeth ROBERTS riding Simply Jolene and Rebecca CALLOW riding Freebie, who kindly volunteered their time to support our efforts.

During the patrol, the team conducted a trot around the rural area to provide visible reassurance, engage with the local community, and help identify any issues or concerns that may require police attention.

This initiative is part of a wider effort to enhance our presence in rural communities and is intended to be a recurring event, taking place every few weeks across various locations.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Elizabeth and Rebecca—our dynamic duo—join us, and their contribution was greatly appreciated.
