3 Vehicles Seized for no Insurance

On the 11/10/25 PC GAMBLE a  Neighbourhood Officer from Stoke North Neighbourhood Team Seized 3 cars for driving without Insurance in Tunstall within 2 hours. 

One vehicle was found abandoned after failing to stop for the officer,  inside the vehicle the officer located a small amount of  drugs and drug paraphernalia. 

Under Section 165A of the Road Traffic Act 1988 the police have the power to seize any vehicles being driven without valid insurance. The owners of the vehicles now have 14 days to reclaim the vehicles if they can prove ownership,  have a valid licence,  valid insurance and pay relevant fees. The drivers of the vehicles will also be processed and issued with Penalty points and fines where appropriate.
