Burglary appeal: Can you help?

Regrettable we must inform the local community of ALMELEY that between Friday 10th OCTOBER from 19:30hrs to 08:15hrs on Saturday 11th OCTOBER 2025, St Mary’s Church was broken into.

Suspect(s) have searched throughout the inside of the church and have stolen an approx. 1m x 1m metal safe that has a handleless lid on the top of it, with access via a key.

The safe contained a silver challis, along with historic documents, detailing marriages, births and deaths that are nearly a century old.
