Dear Residents of Whittle Le Woods,

We would just like to give you a quick update about the ASB incidents that have been happening in Whittle over the last few weeks, especially around Chorley Old Road and Preston Road (Swansea Garage areas) There have been objects thrown at passing cars, eggs thrown at houses, doors kicked, windows smashed and a wall damaged.

Lauren and myself have done many drive bys, in the hot spot areas and have done stop checks on youths we were not familiar with. We have also looked at CCTV from various locations and have managed to identify 6 youths involved in these incidents. 

Home visits with parents was done and the youths have been suitably dealt with.

We have also liaised with the local Councillors and spoken with street scene to remove fallen apples from the trees near Bankside and also Hillside Crescent.

This has been a busy few weeks in the village and we would like to thank the people who helped with our enquiries. Lets hope we can draw line under this behaviour and move forward.
