Working In Partbership

Following reports of aggressive begging in Cheetham hill, PCSO Gary and PCSO Michelle worked in partnership with the Councils antisocial behaviour action team to address community concerns. There role was to identify individuals involved in aggressive begging and issue ‘notices to move’ which prevented further incidents in the immediate area. At the same time, safeguarding remains a top priority.

Alongside enforcement, individuals are offered support and directed towards services that can provide help with housing, health, and other essential needs. Our aim is not only to ensure the safety and comfort of the local community, but also to encourage those in difficult circumstances to access the support available to them.
