It was very pleasant and useful to meet.

The audience reaction to the Barclays presentation was very informative. The audience looked blank when she talked of vishing, smishing and phishing but when she gave examples I could see their eyes light up. They suddenly felt they were not alone … and started talking of their own experiences and of friends who had been seriously defrauded. 

I had a couple of very perceptive questions with regard to on-line safety and safeguarding and the fate of previous Lambeth community policing exercises. 

I followed up with the questioners afterwards and discovered they had indeed  been involved with past exercises and might now be frail but were still fully compos mentis.
