Suspicious Vehicles in the area

We have received reports of a suspicious white van travelling around Draycott in the Clay on 3rd October.

The occupants of the vehicle were seen wandering around nearby residents, appearing to look through windows and generally acting in a suspicious manner. When approached and told that the neighbours have cameras, they left the premises swiftly.

Investigations have discovered that this van was registered to a local business who were engaged to complete work at the premises.

While this particular instance was thankfully a misunderstanding, residents are reminded to safeguard their properties and look out for each other. Reports like this help us to keep an eye on low level incidents before they escalate.
