Burglary Dwelling Around 1.40am on on Friday 3 October in Bakewell Lane, Hucknall, a living room window was forced open using a spade taken from the garden shed, breaking the bottom of the window. The house was entered and a handbag containing a purse with bank cards and I.D. inside. A male could be seen on the ring doorbell. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Between 9.30pm on Friday 3 and 6.15am on Saturday 4 October in Carlingford Road, Hucknall, a silver Land Rover Discovery Sport was stolen from the roadside. It was located later and recovered. At some time after 3.00pm on Sunday 5 October a silver Honda Civic car was stolen from the Market Place car park. The keys to the car were in a handbag which had been stolen earlier from the owners workplace nearby. Theft from motor vehicle Between 11.30pm on Thursday 2 and 8.00am on Friday 3 October in Garden Road, Hucknall, an unlocked green Ford Puma, parked at the roadside, was entered and a school bag, a pair of black Nike Air Max trainers, a dark blue and pale blue tracksuit with a silver bangle in a pocket, a tartan box containing old British money and some letters were stolen. Between 11.00pm on Monday 6 and 1.00pm on Wednesday 8 October in Peveril Street, Hucknall the number plates were stolen from a blue Peugeot 308 Access HDi. A report at 11.07am on Wednesday 8 October in Derbyshire Lane, Hucknall, of a set of golf clubs being stolen from a grey Audi Q7 car which had been involved in a road traffic accident. At 2.04am on Wednesday 8 October in Lovelace Walk, Hucknall, CCTV shows a white male, wearing a light coloured hoodie with the hood up, jeans and white trainers, trying door handles on cars. A paying-in book and sweets were stolen from one car. Theft At 1.44pm on Saturday 4 October in South Street, Hucknall, a report that a customer in the Half Moon Public House had his black North Face jacket stolen. His house keys and a phone charger were in the pockets of the jacket. Violence against the person At 7.53pm on Friday 3 October in Porchester Close, Hucknall, two males with faces covered entered a garden and attacked another male who was in a caravan in the back garden. They left in the direction of Wigwam Lane. One of the attackers was wearing a blue jacket. Criminal Damage At 3.52am on Sunday 5 October in Hazelwood Drive, Hucknall, three tyres on a Volkswagen Passat estate car were slashed. A kitchen type knife was found nearby. ASB At 1.18pm on Friday 3 October in St. Johns Crescent two young males were on the park at the back of a property. One threw a leather shoe at the house window. Both white, the one that threw the shoe was 13/14 years old, brunette hair long on top, wearing a black Nike hoodie, black joggers, white t-shirt and black trainers. The second wearing a black jacket with hood up, light grey joggers and dark shoes. When challenged they walked off towards the Bestwood Store.
