CCTV appeal after woman assaulted in Bournemouth |
||
Officers are issuing CCTV images of two men they would like to identify after a woman was assaulted in Bournemouth.
At around 6am on Sunday 28 September 2025, a woman aged in her 20s was walking in Holdenhurst Road when she had an interaction with a group of people who verbally abused her.
One of the men in the group stole the victim’s glasses and stamped on them.
During the incident, liquid was poured over the victim’s head and at one stage the victim fell to the floor.
She sustained grazes and bruising, as well as an injury to her leg that required medical treatment.
Police Constable Dominic Frost, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my enquiries, I have obtained CCTV images of two men I would like to identify. I would ask anyone who recognises them to please get in touch.
“We are treating this incident as a hate crime due to the nature of some of the comments made to the victim and we are providing support to her throughout our investigation.”
