🚨 Town Centre Policing Update 08/10 – Maidstone 🚨

Your town officers have been actively patrolling Maidstone town centre and have made several key interventions this week:

👮‍♂️ A male wanted for a racially aggravated assault was spotted and arrested by officers on patrol after he has been actively evading police.

🐕 An unregistered and unmuzzled XL Bully was found being walked in the town centre. The dog was seized and Kent Police are pursuing prosecution of the owner.

🚴‍♂️ Our police e-bike was used to intercept and seize an e-scooter travelling at speed along Week Street, helping to keep pedestrians safe.

⚡ On Knightrider Street, officers seized a high-powered illegal e-bike that could be operated solely by throttle, with no pedalling required. This type of vehicle is not road legal and poses a serious safety risk.

🔍 Officers also located a male subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Their proactive intervention uncovered multiple breaches, resulting in 10 charges. The individual has been remanded to court.
