Dear Residents,

There has been three burglaries that occurred overnight in the Whoberley area, targeting sheds, garages, and properties with insecure doors.

West Midlands Police are committed to tackling burglary and want to help residents protect their homes and belongings and will be conducting patrols. Please take a moment to review the following advice as we head towards the darker evenings.

🏠 Burglary Prevention Advice

Always lock doors and windows, even when you're at home.

Install good quality locks on all external doors and windows.

Use timer switches to make your home look occupied when you're out.

Keep valuables out of sight and away from windows.

Don’t leave keys in obvious places like under doormats or plant pots.

Consider installing CCTV or a burglar alarm.

Join or follow your local Neighbourhood Watch for updates and support.

🛠️ Shed & Garage Security Tips

Secure tools and bikes with ground anchors or lockable boxes.

Keep sheds and garages locked at all times, even when you're nearby.
