🚲 Pedal Cycle Thefts - Be aware, stay secure 🚲 

We want to make the local community aware that we've seen a recent increase of pedal cycle thefts in Fleetwood, suspected to be a group of youths targeting abandoned or unsecure bikes. 

The local neighbourhood policing team are actively investigating these incidents and stepping up patrols in key areas. However we also need your help. 

Please stay vigilant and take the following precautions to help prevent further thefts: 

🔐 Always lock your bike - even if you're just leaving it for a minute. Use a D-lock or heavy duty chain and secure it to a fixed object. 

🏡 If storing your bike at home, keep it secure in a shed or garage. 

🚲 Register your bike with ‘Bike register'. Do this for FREE by attending one our bike coding events (Look out for event updates)

And DON'T leave your bike unattended!
