I wanted to provide you an update regarding Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used), which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. CRIME PREVENTION TALKS
On Tuesday 16TH September 2025, your local Clerkenwell Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) attended Chemonics UK (Farringdon) for crime prevention advice on personal safety, situational crime prevention and commercial burglary. As per the National Policing Prevention Strategy 2022, the best policing tool against crime and disorder is prevention.
Clerkenwell SNT Crime prevention talks focus on preventing victims from becoming victims, reducing opportunities for criminals to commit crimes, and fostering positive engagement with the community we serve.
Thank you to Chemonics UK (Farringdon) for inviting Clerkenwell SNT to provide specialist advice on crime prevention in the workplace, personal safety and situational awareness.
Clerkenwell SNT is available to support our local community with crime prevention talks.
