Using a mobile phone while driving significantly increases the risk of distraction, slows reaction times, and is a major contributor to serious and fatal road traffic incidents. It is also a direct offence under the Road Traffic Act.

Drivers caught using a mobile phone can face a substantial fine, six penalty points on their licence, or even disqualification in serious cases. We urge you to consider the serious consequences that even a momentary distraction can have—not only for yourself but for passengers, other road users, and pedestrians.
