Proactive Policing leads to arrest for drug offences

Thanks to proactive policing and strong community intelligence, London Fields Officers have arrested a man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply (PWITS) Class A and Class B drugs.

Following a short foot chase, officers detained the suspect, and discovered a quantity of illegal substances thrown near by. The male has since been bailed with strict conditions, including not to enter the London boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets.

This arrest follows valuable intelligence received earlier this week and highlights the vital role of communication and cooperation between the police and the local community in tackling drug-related crime.
