Free Health Checks At Plaistow Library!

Hello Everyone,

We just wanted to raise awareness for two free health check event happening on our ward at the Plaistow Library E13 9HL.

On 9th October 2025 we have two free health check events happening on our ward, please find below details surrounding both of these events:

Cancer Screening and Awareness Event

From 11:00am-12:30pm there will be an event raising awareness around bowel cancer and breast cancer screening process.

Liver Health Van & Blood Pressure Checks

From 10:00am-15:00pm and will feature a free, quick and non-invasive liver scan. (Scans are only offered to people aged 35-70 who drink over 14 units of alcohol per week, or have a history of hepatitis B or C infection or other liver-related risks)

Feel free to pop in and have a look and if this isn't something that interests you, maybe you know someone who it may apply to. If that is the case, we would greatly appreciate if you could spread the news.
