Acton Patrol Update: Boots on the Ground, Eyes on the StreetsToday’s patrol was all about presence, persistence, and progress. Our Safer Neighbourhood Team hit the streets of Acton with purpose — covering nearly 4km of the ward, from bustling town corners to quiet alleyways and leafy paths. We may not have located our wanted individual this time, but our visibility and engagement made a real impact. Officers were out in force, checking in with local residents, engaging with street users, and keeping a close eye on areas known for parcel theft and drug activity.
Our route took us past key community landmarks including Heathfield Gdns, Acton Hill, and Twyford Gardens, and Acton Town Centre — ensuring we were seen and heard in the places that matter most.
Along the way, we even had a surprise encounter with a curious local — this orange cat seemed quite interested in our patrol!
We explored alleyways and backstreets, disrupting suspicious activity and reassuring residents that their safety is our priority.
Signs of improvement are beginning to show, and while we know these are early days, we’re committed to keeping up the momentum. Our team will continue to patrol, engage, and listen — because safer streets start with strong community connections.
Thank you for your continued support. If you see us out and about, come say hello!
