Seized Vehicles

A busy day in Castleford. On Tuesday 7th October 2025, PC 983 Facer was on patrol in the town centre. A report was made to the officer of a missing teenage child. PC Facer conducted a search and the child was located within 30mins and returned to a place of safety.

PC 841 Shaw was also on patrol when a vehicle was caused to stop in the Castleford area (pictured below). Checks revealed the driver was driving with no insurance. The vehicle was seized and the driver reported to court.

Later, PC 4967 Skidmore and PC 6022 Rhodes were on patrol in the Airedale area when a vehicle was caused to stop. The driver was found to be disqualified, and was subject to an outstanding court warrant. The driver was subsequently arrested and charged to court. The vehicle was seized.
