Outwood Park - Day of Action

Dear Resident

Your local Neighbourhood Police Team are holding a Day of Action at Outwood Park on Thursday 16th October, alongside partner agencies including WYFRS, Wakefield Council and VICO Homes as well as specialist officers from various departments within West Yorkshire Police.  Together they will be taking a walk around the park, conducting an environmental visual audit, paying attention to areas that have been reported as hotspots for anti-social behaviour, drugs and fly-tipping. We will be working together to problem solve with the aim of making the park a safer and more appealing place for the local community to enjoy. 

You can join us between 10.30am - 12noon when representatives from each of the above agencies will be in the car park, waiting to discuss issues that are of concern in relation to the park and local vicinity.
