How to Avoid Doorstep Callers

Have you been visited by a doorstep trader and told that your roof or home needs work?

If yes, the likelihood is that it doesn’t. Doorstep callers are preying on our residents and conning them out of large amounts of money. It starts with a knock at the door and a cheaper than normal quote for small works like guttering or loose tiles, but then escalates to bigger works and threats to get money out of people to do work that does not need doing.
