TILLICOULTRY COMMUNITY COUNCIL
INTRODUCTION
The community police officers for Tillicoultry and Coalsnaughton are PC 247 James Miller and PC 652 Fraser Easton, who are stationed at Alloa Police Station, Kilncraigs, Alloa. You can contact them by calling 101 or by e-mail at –

There were 19 incidents of criminality recorded in September 2025.
PRIORITIES
ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
There were 4 recorded incidents of anti-social behaviour in the area over the last month, they were as follows –
On 2nd September 2025, on High Street, a Midland Bluebird’s bus window was smashed by an unidentified object. This was committed by a male youth however there are no further lines of enquiry.
On 6th September 2025, at Chapelle Crescent, a male youth set fire to the entrance to the common close. Police are following a positive line of enquiry.
On 9th September 2025, at Tillicoultry Primary School, two adult males and an adult female were in an intoxicated state. One male and the female pulled down their outer, lower clothing. There are no further lines of enquiry.
On 21st September 2025, at High Street, a male was threatening and abusive towards Police officers and was issued with a Recorded Police warning for his conduct.
VANDALISM
There were 2 recorded incidents of vandalism in the area over the last month, they were as follows –
On 5th September 2025, at Stoneyacre, a property was damaged, and threats were made to the occupier. Investigations are ongoing.
On 24th September 2025, at Volunteer Arms, High Street, a window was smashed by unknown means. Police are following positive lines of enquiry.
VIOLENCE
There were 5 recorded incidents of violent crime in the area over the last month, they were as follows –
From May until the middle of September, at Fir Park, multiple offences of a domestic nature were committed. Police are following a positive line of enquiry.
On 13th September 2025, at Ann Street, a male acted in a threatening and abusive manner and was issued a Recorded Police Warning.
On 17th September 2025, at Roundelwood, a domestic assault incident occurred resulting in injury to the victim. The perpetrator was arrested and released on Police undertaking.
On 25th September 2025, at Mayfield Avenue, a Police officer was assaulted and as a result, a male was arrested and remained in custody overnight.
On 30th September 2025, at Braehead, a domestic assault occurred followed by numerous road traffic offences. The male was arrested and released on Police undertaking.
ACQUISITIVE CRIME
There were 7 recorded incidents of acquisitive crime in the area over the last month, they were as follows –
On 4th September 2025, at Coop, High Street, goods totalling £60.00 were stolen from the premise. There are no further lines of enquiry.
On 5th September 2025, at Cairnton Place, a bank card was stolen and subsequently used to remove money from the complainers account. Police are following positive lines of enquiry.
On 6th September 2025, at Coop, High Street, goods totalling £90.00 were stolen from the premise. There are no further lines of enquiry.
On 9th September 2025, at Macks Pharmacy on High Street, goods worth approximately £55.00 were stolen from the premise. Both persons were reported to the courts for the matter.
On 10th September 2025, at Sterling Mills Outlet, the wishing well was broken into and an unknown amount of cash was stolen from within. There are no further lines of enquiry.
On 11th September 2025, at School Terrace, Coalsnaughton, property was stolen from within a dwelling house. There were no lines of enquiry.
On 19th September 2025, at Ramsay Terrace, an attempted housebreaking offence was committed - the door and the door’s lock were damaged. There were no lines of enquiry.
ROAD TRAFFIC
On 6th September 2025, at Chapelle Crescent, a vehicle collided with a parked vehicle and failed to stop. Police are continuing enquiries.
INCIDENTS OF NOTE
None of note.
ANY OTHER COMMUNITY ISSUES Community officers continue to address parking and driving issues in Tillicoultry. Tickets and warnings have been issued and will continue to be issued where appropriate. Please continue to report any concerns to police on 101 or directly to us via e-mail. The Clackmannanshire Community Team will continue to target local drug dealers utilising intelligence received from the community. This intelligence is essential to enable officers to act against those involved and we encourage any information to be passed to the police or via Crimestoppers. Several warrants and stops were executed this month resulting in the recovery of controlled drugs and cash. Facebook and Twitter – Community Messages can be placed on local Police sites via the Community Sergeant, currently PS Alisdair Goldie who are based at Alloa Police station.
