Local Priorities Mobile phone theft Concern Update - Met dismantles gang in UKs largest phone theft

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

As many may have heard in the news recently the met has dismantled one of the UK's Largest Phone Theft Gang. The gang is belived to have smuggled up to 40,000 stolen from from the UK to China over the past 12 months. We are pleased to inform that members of the high street team have been involved in this and have had a amazing result.
